The security future of Israel

Abstract:

Diplomová práce dopodrobna rozebírá izraelsko-palestinské vztahy a to od starověku až po předpokládaný vývoj v budoucnu, spolu s dalšími oblastmi týkající se této problematiky. Je zpracována ve formě přehledu jednotlivých významných události a mezníků, které jsou velmi důležité a rozhodující o dějinách státu Izrael. Důraz je kladen především na chronologické řazení, od úplného počátku a vzniku státu, přes současnost a konečně ve své práci seznamuji čtenáře s několika postřehy, či úvahami o budoucnosti. Moje práce by měla poskytnout přehled o celkovém vývoji palestinského problému. Dále zde hodnotím roli jednotlivých států, zainteresovaných do možného budoucího mírového uspořádání v oblasti Blízkého východu. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je nalezení motivů a aspektů, které vedly ke změnám na izraelské a palestinské politické scéně. Dopodrobna analyzuje pozadí vzniku palestinských rezistentních skupin. Diplomová práce zkoumá nejrůznější příčiny konfliktu, hlavní sporné body jednotlivých aktérů a v závěru jsou nastíněny scénáře možného dalšího vývoje tohoto regionu.

Abstract:

The thesis discusses in detail the Israeli-Palestinian relations since ancient times to the expected development in the future, along with other areas on this issue. It is compiled as a list of significant events and milestones, which are very important and decisive in the history of Israel. Emphasis is placed primarily on the chronological ordering from the very beginning and foundation of the state, through the present, and finally, in his paper deals with some observations and reflections on the future. My work should provide an overview of the overall development of the Palestinian problem. Next on my work appreciate the role of states involved in a possible future peace settlement in the Middle East. The main aim of this thesis is to find themes and issues that led to changes in the Israeli and Palestinian political scene. Analyzes in detail the background of the Palestinian resistance groups. This thesis examines the various causes of conflict, the main contentious points of the different actors and finally outlines the possible scenarios of further development of this region.
