Abstract:
This bachelor thesis linking sports and linguistics deals with the sports commentary in Russia as well as the linguistic personality of a Russian sports commentator Sergey Kurdyukov. The main purpose of this thesis is to introduce the linguistic personality of the chosen individual and illustrate it with the background of other Russian sports commentators.
