Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je problematika konceptu smart cities. Hlavním cílem je zmapování současné situace smart prvků v Praze spojených s jejich dalším rozvojem. Předmětem teoretické části je vymezení konceptu smart cities za využití deskriptivní metody spojené s navázáním na již uskutečněné projekty v evropských velkoměstech a posléze v hlavním městě Praze. Analýza probíhala na základě provedených rozhovorů s osobami podílejícími se na vytváření konceptu smart cities. Viditelné problémy představují zejména nevyužití stávajících struktur ve městě, nedostatek reálných dat pro správné rozhodování, nízká realizace projektů, nezainteresovanost soukromých subjektů a politické ambice. Přínosem této práce je poukázat na skutečnosti omezující potenciál města v jeho současném rozvoji.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis is the issue of the concept of smart cities. The main aim is to map the current situation of smart elements in Prague related to their further development. The theoretical part defines the concept of smart cities using a descriptive method connected with implemented projects in European cities and also in the capital city of Czech Republic. The performed analysis was carried out on the basis of interviews with people involved in creating the smart city concept. Visible problems are mainly non-use of existing structures in the city, lack of real data for correct decision-making, low project implementation, lack of involvement of private entities and political ambitions. The contribution of this work is to point out the facts limiting the potential of the city in its current development.
