Generational pitfalls in the adaptation process in non-medical health professions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou generačních střetů v rámci adaptačního procesu v nelékařských zdravotnických povoláních. Teoretická část práce popisuje začlenění nelékařských zdravotnických pracovníků do praxe, charakteristiku generací, oblasti generačních střetů a jejich překonávání. Průzkumná část diplomové práce byla realizována v nemocničním zařízení Libereckého kraje, jehož název není v této práci za účelem zachování ochrany osobních údajů uveden. S prosbou rozšíření elektronického strukturovaného dotazníku mezi nelékařské zdravotnické pracovníky tohoto nemocničního zařízení byli osloveni vedoucí pracovníci daných oddělení nemocnice. Hlavním cílem dotazníkového šetření bylo zjistit spokojenost respondentů v oblastech adaptačního procesu a výskyt generačních střetů během něj.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of generational conflicts within the adaptation process in nonmedical health professions. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the integration of non-medical health professionals into practice, characteristics of generations, areas of generational conflicts and overcoming them. The research part of the thesis was carried out in a hospital facility in the Liberec region, the name of which is not mentioned in this thesis in order to protect personal data. The managers of the departments of the hospital were contacted with a request to distribute an electronic structured questionnaire among the nonmedical health care workers of this hospital facility. The main objective of the questionnaire survey was to find out the satisfaction of the respondents in the areas of adaptation process and occurrence of generational clashes during the process.
