German population is in close connection with history and culture of city Nový Jičín, which is in this thesis described in detail. Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá vzájemným vztahem německé komunity a městem Novým Jičínem a jeho okolím. Německé obyvatelstvo je neodmyslitelně spjato s historií a kulturou města, která je v práci dále podrobně rozebíráná. Práce se dále zaměřuje na existenci tehdejších spolků a zpracovává údaje o tehdejším životě, zvycích a kultuře získané především od pamětníků z řad odsunutých Němců.
