The comparative analysis of different academic approaches of the Munich agreement in United Kingdom, Germany and Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a komparací vybraných aktuálních edukačních materiálů k výuce tématu mnichovská dohoda v kontextu předválečné situace, a to ve třech zemích - Velké Británii, Německu a České republice. Obsahuje teoretickou část zabývající se historickým kontextem a rozdíly ve vzdělávacích systémech jednotlivých zemí. A praktickou část, ve které je prováděna samotná komparace. Ta se věnuje několika kritériím, jmenovitě jsou jimi kontext, klíčové pojmy, objektivita a dodatečné přílohy. Práce má za cíl porovnat informační a vizuální stránku vybraných materiálů a vyhodnotit na základě těchto informací rozdíly ve výuce mnichovské dohody jednotlivých oblastí. Z porovnávání vyplývá, že faktografická stránka materiálů se příliš neliší. Naopak největším rozdílem je zařazení Mnichova do různých dobových kontextů.

Abstract:

Bachelor's thesis focuses on the analysis and comparison of selected educational materials for teaching about the Munich Agreement in the context of the pre-war situation in three countries - Great Britain, Germany and the Czech Republic. It contains a theoretical part, focused on historical background and differences in school systems of these individual countries, and a practical part in which the comparison itself is carried out. The comparison addresses several criteria, namely context, key concepts, objectivity and additional attachments. The aim of this work is to compare the information and visual side of selected materials and to evaluate on the basis of this information the differences in the teaching of the Munich Agreement. The comparison shows that the factual side of the materials does not differ much. On the contrary, the biggest difference is shown in the inclusion of Munich into different contexts.
