Hlavním cílem práce je poskytnout komplexní analýzu desky The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, druhého nejvýdělečnějšího alba Davida Bowieho, které v roce 1972 odstartovalo jeho profesionální hudební dráhu a zajistilo mu uznání i ze strany mainstreamu. The subject of this thesis is David Bowie and his album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars (Ziggy Stardust) that launched Bowie's professional music career and granted him recognition from the mainstream in 1972.
