Tato práce se zabývá problematikou nepřímých žádostí a jejich vnímáním ve významných zdvořilostních teoriích. Práce by měla rovněž odrážet vývoj teorií lingvistické zvvořilosti během posledních třiceti let. The thesis describes how indirect requests have been perceived in some major theories of linguistic politeness. It should also reflect the development of politeness theories over the last thirty years.
