Series of drawings upon a theme. Haruki Murakami - A Wild Sheep Chase.

Abstract:

Patnáct kreseb, které jsou inspirované knihou japonského spisovatele Haruki Murakami Hon na ovce. Kresby jsou provedené technikou kresby grafitovou tužkou. Formát kreseb je 50x70. Tento cyklus je maximálním nahlédnutím do hluché a šedé atmosféry prostupující celou knihou. Ilustrace jsou volným překladem díla, které je vytvořeno ve směru magického realismu. Obrazy vtahují diváka do nitra velice intimního vnitřního světa hlavního hrdiny, kde jsou vzpomínky propleteny s fantazií a realitou.

Abstract:

Fifteen drawings are inspired by a book of a Japanese writer Haruki Murakami that is called "A Wild Sheep Chase". These works are made by using a graphite pencil drawing technique. The size of each work is 50x70 cm. The series is a deep insight into a deaf and gray atmosphere pervading the whole book. The illustrations are a free translation of the story that are visually done in the direction of magical realism. Paintings involve a viewer in the core of a very intimate inner world of the hero where memories are interlaced with fantasy and reality.
