Study and conservation of archaeological pottery
Abstract:
Ve své bakalářské práci se zabývám vlastnostmi, procesem výroby a konzervací archeologické keramiky. Praktická část pojednává kromě vlastního konzervátorského procesu také o vhodnosti použitého lepidla a jeho srovnání s lepidly odlišného chemického složení pro lepení archeologické keramiky. Dále experimentálně ověřuje chování zkoumaných lepidel při vystavení lepených předmětů nevhodným podmínkám.
Abstract:
In my bachelor’s thesis I deal with qualities, production process and conservation of the archaeological ceramics. The practical part discusses the conservation process itself and also the appropriateness of the adhesive which was used. It compares several adhesives of a different chemical composition and it verifies their behaviour while exposed to unsuitable conditions.
