Creating a Portfolio with Elements of Responsible and Sustainable Investing

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této diplomové práce je vytvoření návrhu investičního portfolia s prvky udržitelného a odpovědného investování. V teoretické části je provedena literární rešerše zaměřená na zásady investování, nástroje kapitálového trhu, tvorbu portfolia a principy společenské odpovědnosti firem. V praktické části je zhotovena analýza makroekonomického prostředí a jsou stanovena kritéria, od nichž se odvíjí výběr investičních nástrojů pro vytvoření portfolia respektující principy společenské odpovědnosti. Na závěr je zhodnocena výkonnost navrhované strategie, která je porovnána s alternativní investiční příležitostí. Jsou předloženy výsledky a doporučení pro investory, kterým může být tato práce inspirací.

Abstract:

The main aim of this thesis is to create an investment portfolio proposal with elements of sustainable and responsible investing. In the theoretical part, a literature search is conducted, focused on investment principles, capital market instruments, portfolio creation and principles of corporate social responsibility. In the practical part, an analysis of the macroeconomic environment is made, and the criteria are established, which are used to determine the choice of investment instruments for creating a portfolio that respects the principles of social responsibility. Finally, the performance of the proposed strategy is evaluated, which is compared with alternative investment opportunity. Results and recommendations are presented for investors who may be inspired by this work.
