Abstract:

Práce jako celek má za cíl uvést do široké problematiky přírodních katastrof a environmentálních hazardů. První část se zabývá teoretickými pojmy a koncepty přístupu ke studiu daného tématu. Ve druhé části jsou zpracovány jednotlivé vybrané hazardy a katastrofy. Vzhledem k tomu, že práce představuje především výukový materiál, obsahuje připojená hypertextová prezentace opakovací otázky a rozvíjející náměty ke studiu, stejně jako seznam odkazů a literatury, které jsou doporučeny pro samostatnou činnost studentů.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis as a whole is to provide an access to the wide topic of natural disasters and environmental hazards. The first part is focused on explaining various theoretical terms and approaches to the study of the problem in question. In the second part, several chosen hazards and disasters are examined in more detail. For the fact that the thesis is predominantly a learning material, the included hyper-textual presentation involves suggestions to further study as well as a list of reference works and websites, which are recommended for following individual activities of the students.
