Corporate Social Responsibility and its importance novadays and in the future

Abstract:

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je společenská odpovědnost a její uplatňovaní ve společnosti Zomato. V úvodní kapitole teoretické části práce je uvedena definice a historie společenské odpovědnosti. Posléze jsou uvedeny její tři základní oblasti, tzv. triple bottom line. Důležitou částí práce je popis stakeholderů. Práce se věnuje argumentům, které vedou pro a proti společensky odpovědnému chování firem. Uvedeno je dále koncept CSR v České republice a ve světě. Hlavním cílem této práce je popis společenské odpovědnosti konkrétní firmy Zomato a poté zhodnocení její činnosti v této oblasti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the corporate social responsibility and its usage in Zomato company. In the introductory chapter of the theoretical part there is a definition and history of CSR. Then there are three main areas, the so called 'triple bottom line'. One of the important parts of the thesis is the description of stakeholders. The thesis also analyses arguments that are in favour and against corporate social responsibility. It also describes the concept of CSR in the Czech republic and globally. The main goal of this thesis is to describe the CSR activities of Zomato company and also to evaluate them.
