Landslides in the Czechia and selected slope deformation in the Outer Western Carpathians: mapping, field monitoring

Abstract:

This Master thesis deal with monitoring of the selected slope deformation on the north-north-east part of the Ondřejník massif, effects of precipitation on its movement and detailed description of selected slope deformations in the Czech Republic. In the Master thesis I followed the same measurement technique as in the Bachelor thesis "Surface movement monitoring methods of slope deformations the Outer Western Carpathians" which was geometric levelling out of centre. Every month from March 2018 to May 2019 I was measuring elevation difference at two sections of the levelling area. During the measurements, two spikes were lost in May 2019. The spikes were replaced with new ones, although the continuity of the measurement could be affected by this. The monitoring results confirm persistent movement of the sliding body. An integral part of my Master thesis was the production of two geomorphological maps of the selected geomorphological forms. The first covers the north-north-west and north-north-east parts of the Ondřejník massif. The second one is more detailed map of tension cracks located at the northern ridge of the Ondřejník massif. Detailed surveying took place in multiple days - 3 in July and 3 in November. All surveyed forms were subsequently processed in ArcMap and made into final maps.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá monitoringem vybrané svahové deformace na ssv části svahu Ondřejníku, vlivem srážek na její pohyb a popisem vybraných svahových deformací v České republice. V diplomové práci navazuji na měření z mé bakalářské práce "Povrchové metody monitoringu svahových deformací ve Vnějších Západních Karpatech" použitím stejné monitorovací metody, kterou je nivelační měření ze středu. Každý měsíc od března 2018 do května 2019 jsem docházela na místo nivelace a měřila výškový rozdíl ve dvou úsecích. Během mého měření došlo v květnu 2019 ke ztrátě dvou hřebů, které byly nahrazeny za nové, avšak návaznost dalšího měření může být tímto ovlivněna. Výsledky monitoringu potvrzují stálou přítomnost pohybu sesuvného tělesa. Součástí mé diplomové práce bylo vytvoření dvou geomorfologických map vybraných geomorfologických forem okolí monitorované svahové deformace. První geomorfologická mapa zobrazuje ssz a ssv svahy Ondřejníku. Druhá je podrobnější mapa oblasti tahových trhlin na severním hřbetě Ondřejníku. Mapování probíhalo v několika dnech, 3 letní a 3 podzimní dny (měsíc červenec a listopad). Zaznačené formy jsem následně zpracovala v programu ArcMap do výsledných map.
