V bakalářské práci je vymezeno místní referendum jakožto jeden z institutů přímé demokracie. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje zejména na současnou i již neplatnou právní úpravu místních referend v České republice, dále pak na výhody a nevýhody místního referenda. The bachelor's thesis defines a local referendum as one of the institutes of direct democracy. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses mainly on the current and no longer valid legal regulation of the local referendum in the Czech Republic, as well as on the advantages and disadvantages of the local referendum.
