Age management and learning organisations from the perspective of older and younger workers.

Anotace:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dvěma primárními koncepty Age management a učící se organizace z pohledu vnímání mladších a starších pracovníků. Tyto dva koncepty byly rozšířeny o sekundární koncepty – ageismus a organizační identifikace. Cílem analýzy není pouze vnímání konceptů pracovníky, ale také zkoumání, zda jsou koncepty propojeny s Age managementem ve vybrané organizaci. Literární rešerše zpracovává jednotlivé pojmy a snaží se o zachycení důležitých informací, které jsou významné pro jednotlivé koncepty. Data pro analýzu této práce byla získána od 178 respondentů a následně byla zpracována za účelem potvrzení nebo nepotvrzení daných hypotéz a odpovědí na vědecké otázky. Dotazníkové šetření bylo sestaveno z pěti dostupných studií prezentující dané koncepty.

Abstract:

This thesis has two primary concepts - the Age Management and the Learning Organization from the perspective of the perceptions of younger and older workers. These two concepts have been expanded to include the secondary concepts of ageism and organizational identification. The target of the analysis is not only the perception of the concepts by the workers but also to examine whether the concepts are linked to Age Management in the selected organisation. The literature search elaborates on each concept and tries to capture important information that is relevant to each concept. The data for the analysis of this thesis was collected from 178 respondents and nextly processed to confirm or disconfirm the given hypotheses and answer the research questions. The questionnaire survey was created from five available studies presenting the mentioned concepts.
