Electric locomotive with additional combustion engine
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá možnostmi instalace pomocného spalovacího motoru, tzv. last mile pohonu, do elektrické lokomotivy. Cílem je představit tento novodobý trend, objasnit jeho výhody, ukázat na konkrétní lokomotivě trakční parametry pohonu při různých výkonnostních variantách spalovacího motoru a také určit přibližné rozměry a hmotnost LM modulu pro případnou zástavbu do elektrické lokomotivy.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is focused on the installation of diesel shunting module (last mile engine) to electric locomotive. The aim is to give an overview of the trend, to explain its advantages, to show the traction parameters of locomotive with multiple diesel engines, and finally, to determine the dimensions and weight of the last mile engine.
