The Measurement of Band Saws Wheel Profiles for Cutting Logs

Abstract:

Obsahem této práce je návrh a realizace inovace měření pro firmu zabývající se pilovými pásy. Teoretická část popisuje jednotlivé části pásové pily a současný způsob měření opotřebení pásovnice. Následuje rozbor současné metodiky měření a vytčení největších nedostatků. Poté je popsán samotný návrh inovace měření včetně teoretického rozboru a návrhu potřebných snímačů. Praktická část obsahuje popis realizace navrženého řešení a programového vybavení. Závěr praktické části je věnován prezentaci a rozboru naměřených dat včetně zhodnocení přínosů navrženého řešení.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the proposal and the realisation of the measurement innovation for a company that produces band saw blades. The theoretical part describes the constituent parts of a band saw and the current way how the wearing of the band saw wheel is measured. An analysis of the current methodology of the measurement follows while the most significant imperfections are pointed out. After that I deal with the proposal of the measurement innovation, including a theoretical analysis and a proposal of the necessary sensors. The practical part describes the realisation of the proposed solution and the programme equipment. The practical part concludes with a presentation and an analysis of the measured data, including the evaluation of the benefits of the proposed solution.
