Analysis of Sources of Financing and their Accounting of the Selected Non-profit Organization

Abstract:

Moja bakalárska práca je zameraná na analýzu zdrojov financovania a spôsob ich účtovania v neziskovej organizácii Pokoj v duši, n. o., poskytujúcej všeobecne prospešné služby. Práca sa skladá z teoretickej a praktickej časti. Teoretická časť popisuje všeobecnú problematiku neziskových organizácií, základné znaky a problémy, s ktorými sa tretí sektor najčastejšie stretáva. V tejto časti sú stručne popísané štyri právne formy neziskových organizácií na Slovensku. Dôležitou súčasťou je charakteristika základných metód získavania finančných zdrojov a účtovníctva pre neziskový sektor. Praktická časť je venovaná predstaveniu konkrétnej neziskovej organizácie. Následne je spracovaná finančná analýza organizácie, analýza zdrojov financovania a tiež spôsoby účtovania využívaných zdrojov. V závere sú zhrnuté výsledky analýzy a spracovaný návrh na zlepšenie hospodárenia a využívania finančných zdrojov organizácie.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is focused on the analysis of sources of financing and their methods of accounting in non - profit organization, Pokoj v duši, n. o., which is providing generally beneficial services. The thesis consists of the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part describes the general issue of non - profit organizations, basic features and the most common problems which are related to the third sector. In this part of the thesis are briefly described four legal forms of Slovak non - profit organizations. The very important part is characteristic of basic methods of obtaining financial sources and accounting in the non - profit sector. In the practical part is presented one particular non - profit organization. Subsequently, there is processed financial analysis of the organization, analysis of sources of financing and also methods of accounting of these sources. At the end of the thesis are summarized the results of the analysis and processed proposal for improvement of the economy and improvement in the usage of the sources of the financing in the organization.
