The Ransomware Threat in the Population Protection Environment

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou kybernetické bezpečnosti v kontextu konkrétního subjektu. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí: teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na objasnění teoretických poznatků v oblasti kybernetické bezpečnosti, včetně základní terminologie, principů a legislativního rámce. Praktická část se věnuje analýze kybernetické bezpečnosti vybraného subjektu vůči hrozbě ransomware. Práce zahrnuje hodnocení vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí subjektu pomocí metody SWOT. Dále práce zkoumá dopady hypotetických scénářů na bezpečnost subjektu pomocí metody What-if. Na základě zjištění jsou navržena konkrétní opatření pro posílení kybernetické bezpečnosti daného subjektu.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of cyber security in the context of a specific entity. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on clarifying the theoretical knowledge in the field of cybersecurity, including the basic terminology, principles and legislative framework. The practical part is devoted to the analysis of cyber security of the selected entity against the threat of ransomware. The work includes an assessment of the internal and external environment of the entity using the SWOT method. Furthermore, the thesis examines the impact of hypothetical scenarions on the security of the entity using the What-if method. Based on the findings, specific measures are proposed to strengthen the entity's cyber security.
