Reading digital literary works on tablets in the Czech environment

Abstract:

Tématem práce je čtení digitálních děl na tabletech a proměny čtenářství v českém prostředí. Práce je členěná na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části si klade za cíl především seznámit čtenáře s fenoménem tablet zařízeních, říci něco málo k historii a poukázat na technologické aspekty těchto zařízeních. Tablet jako moderní produkt silně ovlivňuje „ducha“ dnešní doby. Mění se nejen povaha nabízejících služeb, ale také postoj samotných uživatelů. Cílem této práce je především pozorovat vlivy tabletu z hlediska čtenářství, proto jsem v souvislosti s tímto tématem považoval za nutné nejdříve čtenáře seznámit s tím, jak přistupujeme k textu v digitální době. Dále se věnují otázkám remediace čtenářského zážitků, kolektivního autorství v souvislosti s nástupem nových médií a změnám přístupu čtenářství v digitální době.

Abstract:

The theme of this work is reading digital piece on tablets and transformations of reading in Czech enviroment. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part aims primarily to acquaint the reader with the phenomenon of tablet devices, say a little history and to point out the technological aspects of these devices. Tablet as a modern product are strongly influenced by the "spirit" of nowadays. Changing not only the nature of the service offering, but the attitude of the users themselves. The aim of this work is to observe the effects of the tablet in terms of readership, so I related to this topic you must first thought was to familiarize the reader with how to approach the text in the digital age. It also discusses the issues of remediation of reading experiences, collective authorship in the context of the emergence of new media and changes in the approach of reading in the digital age.
