Design of company's information system

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je věnována návrhu informačního systému firmy podnikatelky Marcely Bělicové, která se zabývá maloobchodním prodejem potravin ve své prodejně Zdravá výživa Andělika. Práce sestává ze dvou částí. Teoretická část představuje problematiku informačních systémů a přibližuje jejich využití v podnicích. V praktické části je firma blíže charakterizována, je popsán aktuální stav řešení, kdy ve firmě není využíván žádný informační systém, a jsou analyzovány potřeby a požadavky, které vyplynuly z rozhovorů a pozorování prováděných ve firmě. Na to navazuje návrh na zavedení konkrétního informačního systému. Základem návrhu nového informačního systému je databáze MS Access a její propojení s hardwarovými nástroji – čtečkou čárových kódů a tiskárnou etiket. Navrhované řešení firmě přinese efektivnější správu skladových zásob a minimalizaci lidských chyb.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis focuses on designing an information system for Marcela Bělicová´s small retail business, „Zdravá výživa Andělika“, which specializes in selling groceries. The thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part explores the concepts of information systems and their practical applications in businesses. The practical part provides an in-depth characterization of the company, describes the current state of affairs where no information system is in place, and analyzes the needs and requirements identified through interviews and observations conducted within the company. This analysis serves as the basis for proposing the implementation of a specific information system. The core of the proposed solution revolves around utilization of the MS Access database and its integration with hardware tools such as a barcode scanner and label printer. The proposed solution aims to bring about more efficient inventory management and minimize human errors for the company.
