Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce s názvem Analýza Kosterního Trauma Pozůstatků z Habánského Pohřebiště v Přibicích je sestavit ucelený narativ o existenci kosterního trauma u huteritské populace. Huterité, na Moravě také někdy známí jako Habáni, byli novokřtěneckou komunitou, která na území Moravy pobývala téměř 100 let. Koncem 16. století se usadili v Přibicích ve kterých poklidně přebývali až do napadení habsburskou armádou v roce 1620 a následném vyhoštění v roce 1622. Z těchto důvodů po sobě Habáni zanechali jen velmi omezené množství pozůstatků svého kulturního dědictví – jedním z nich je hřbitov v již zmíněných jihomoravských Přibicích. Reprezentativní vzorek zahrnuje 101 jedinců nalezených v letech 2018 až 2021 z 97 hrobů s dosud nenalezenými a nepublikovanými známkami koterního trauma, proto by tento projekt měl být považován za preliminární. Významnou součástí tohoto projektu je literární rešerše zdrojů zabývající se historií Novokřenců, zbraněmi používaných v dané době a lokalitě, výzkumem kosterního trauma a porovnání s kosterním trauma z jiných studií v podobném kontextu. Vzhledem k tomu, že výzkum pohřebiště budou pokračovat i v následujících letech, vytváří tento projekt příležitost pro budoucí navazující výzkum související s analýzou trauma, který může stavět na základech této práce.

Abstract:

The objective of this master thesis, titled Skeletal Trauma Analysis of the Remains from Habanic Burial Site in Přibice, is to construct a comprehensive narrative on the prevalence of skeletal trauma within the Hutterite populus. The Hutterites, some-times known as Habans in Moravia, were an Anabaptist community which resided in the Moravian region for nearly a century. In the late 16th century, they settled in Přibice, where they lived peacefully until the conflict with the Imperial army in 1620 and the subsequent expulsion of 1622. These circumstances have resulted in a very limited number of their cultural heritage remnants, one of which is the cemetery in the aforementioned Přibice, South Moravia. The representative sample comprises of 101 individuals excavated between 2018 and 2021 from 97 graves without any recorded and published evidence of skeletal trauma. Therefore, this project should be considered preliminary in nature. A signifi-cant component of this project involves a literature review of sources on Anabaptist history, contemporary weaponry, skeletal trauma analysis, and comparison with skeletal trauma identified in a similar context. As the burial site analysis continues in the subsequent years, this project provides an opportunity for future follow-up re-search related to trauma analysis to build upon this thesis.
