Gastronomic habits and preferences of the Czech people in comparison with Ukrainian people

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat rozdíly ve stravovacích návycích dvou různých kuchyní - ukrajinské a české. Zaměření této práce byla především na stravovací návyky a tradiční pokrmy obou národů. Cíl byl dosažen pomocí dotazníkového šetření přes webový portál survio.com. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na popis zvyklostí a hlavní rysy obou kuchyní. Dále se zde píše o tradičních a významných pokrmech České republiky a Ukrajiny. Praktická část práce vychází z dotazníkového šetření a zaměřuje se na porovnání preference gastronomických zvyků obou států. Dotazník byl vytvořen ve dvou verzích a pro každou zemi zvlášť, jediný rozdíl mezi nimi byl jazyk dotazníku a název země. Návrhová část obsahuje důležité poznatky z vypracované práce a doporučená gastronomická opatření pro oba národy. Použité metody pro tuto práci byly komparace, sumarizace a analýza dat z dotazníkového šetření.

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the differences in the eating habits of two different cuisines - Ukrainian and Czech. The focus of this work was mainly on eating habits and traditional dishes of both nations. The goal was achieved by means of a questionnaire survey via the survio.com web portal. The theoretical part focuses on the description of customs and main features of both kitchens. It also writes about traditional and important dishes of the Czech Republic and Ukraine. The practical part of the work is based on a questionnaire survey and focuses on comparing the preferences of gastronomic habits of both countries. The questionnaire was created in two versions and for each country separately, the only difference between them was the language of the questionnaire and the name of the country. The design part contains important findings from the work and recommended gastronomic measures for both nations. The methods used for this work were comparison, summarization and analysis of data from a questionnaire survey.
