Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Zachování důstojnosti seniorů v DD Velký Újezd“ pojednává o zachování důstojnosti seniorů v oblasti ústavní péče a snaží se přiblížit jejich současnou situaci a pocity, které prožívají. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak se senioři v Domově důchodců ve Velkém Újezdě cítí a jak se zde dbá na udržení důstojnosti člověka. Teoretická část přibližuje pojem stáří a jeho současné vnímání společností, dále se zaměřuje na změny týkající se jednotlivce a na podmínky, které jsou klíčové pro zachování důstojnosti seniorů. V tomto kontextu je pozornost zaměřena i na oblast postojů a schopností jedince, komunikace, sexuálního života a umírání. Výzkumná část vychází z kvalitativního výzkumu, kde sběr dat proběhl na základě řízeného rozhovoru, který byl následně analyzován metodou otevřeného kódování.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis „Maintaining of the dignity of the elderly in the retirement home Velký Újezd“ deals with maitaining the dignity of older persons in residential care and it tries to bring their current situation and feelings, that they experience. The aim of the work is to determine how the elderly in the retirement home of the Velký Újezd feel and how they care here to maintain the dignity of man. Theoretical notion of approaching old age and its current perception of the community and it focuses on the changes of the individual conditions that are crucial for maintaining dignity of seniors. In this context, the attention is also focused on attitudes and abilities of the individual, communication, sexual life and death. The research section is based on qualitative research, where the data were based on a guided interview, which was then analyzed using open coding.
