The purpose of this work is to compare and analyze the legal concept of limitation from the viewpoint of the Civil Code and Commercial Code. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je porovnať a analyzovať právny inštitút premlčania a to z pohľadu Občianskeho zákonníka a Obchodného zákonníka. Premlčanie je jeden z inštitútov práva, kde sa prejavujú účinky plynutia času, jeho následkom však nie je zánik práva, ale oslabenie, nakoľko nárok sa významne oslabuje.
