Approaches to building work carried out on important religious architectural monuments in the period from World War II to the present

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Přístupy ke stavebním zásahům provedeným na významných pražských sakrálních architektonických památkách v období po druhé světové válce do současnosti se zabývá výraznými stavebními zásahy realizovanými na vybraném vzorku nemovitých kulturních památek. Zaměřuje se na takové rekonstrukce, při kterých došlo k zásadním zásahům do historické substance stavby. Práce je členěna do osmi kapitol. V první kapitole je nastíněn vhled do problematiky teorie československé památkové péče. Prostor je věnován především myšlenkovým východiskům Zdeňka Wirtha a Václava Wagnera, jejichž teorie formovaly československou památkovou péči a mají patřičný přesah až do současnosti. Ostatní kapitoly jsou věnovány konkrétním architektonickým památkám a analýze jednotlivých rekonstrukčních zásahů. Sledováno je, jakým způsobem a na základě jaké teorie bylo k rekonstrukci přistoupeno a jaký vliv měl na způsob rekonstrukce požadavek na následné funkční využití stavby. Součástí každé kapitoly je hodnotící shrnutí. Práce má kompilační charakter, především identifikuje konkrétní rysy teoretických idejí, které ovlivnily zvolený přístup k obnově objektu.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis Approaches to building work carried out on important religious architectural monuments in the period from World War II to the present deals with significant building interventions realized on a sample of immovable monuments. It focuses on reconstructions, in which significant interventions into the building‘s historical basis were done. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. The first chapter outlines the insight into the theory of Czechoslovak monument care. Consideration is devoted mainly to the Zdeněk Wirth’s and Václav Wagner’s intellectual bases. Their theories have formed the Czechoslovak monument care and have had an important overlap to the present. Next chapters are devoted to particular architectural monuments and analysis of concrete reconstruction interventions. We follow the manner and theory which was chosen for reconstruction. Further we assess the effect of subsequent functional building use requirement. he had on the way of reconstruction. Each chapter contains an evaluation summary. The thesis has a compilation character, predominantly identifies the particular features of the theoretical ideas that have influenced the approach to the building restoration.
