Atlas of the world's crop production

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je vytvořit atlas světové rostlinné výroby na příkladu vybraných druhů užitkových rostlin. Mapový soubor tvoří volně uspořádané mapy, které umožňují zjistit oblasti pěstování vybraných druhů užitkových rostlin na základě jejich světové produkce a výnosu. Jednotlivé mapy jsou rozděleny podle skupin užitkových rostlin podle jejich významu a jsou doplněny o zajímavé informace a fotografie samotných rostlin a produktů, které se z nich vyrábějí. Atlas lze využít jako didaktickou pomůcku ve výuce zeměpisu na druhém stupni základní školy nebo pro sledování vývoje světové rostlinné produkce. Atlas je součástí práce jako samostatná příloha.

Abstract:

The objective of this diploma thesis is to create Atlas of world´s crop production on the example of selected species of cultural plants. The map file consists of freely organized maps, that it allows you to determine the areas of cultivation of selected species of cultural crops based on their world´s production and yield. The individual maps are divided into groups of cultural crops according to their importance and are complemented by interesting information and photos of individual plants and their products that are produced from them. The atlas can be used as a didactic tool in teaching of geography at the lower secondary school or for monitoring of development of world crop production. The atlas is part of the work as a separate attachment.
