My experiences with interpretation of Gustav Mahler´s work

Abstract:
Ve své bakalářské práci jsem se rozhodla zaměřit na osobnost Gustava Mahlera z širší perspektivy. Značná část textu je proto věnována jeho životním osudům a tvorbě. Po rozboru důležitých dat z osobního života mapuji i Mahlerův profesní rozvoj. Závěrem se zabývám jeho písňovou sbírkou Kindertotenlieder - okolnostmi jejich vzniku, historií i formální stránkou. In my bachelor thesis I have decided to focus on the person of Gustav Mahler. A large part of the text is focused on his fate a works. After reviewing important events from his life, I´m watching his professional development.
