Abstract:

P: Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá popisem restaurátorských postupů při komplexním restaurování knihy Kosmografie české od Sebastiana Münstera ze sbírky Vědecké knihovny v Olomouci. Tato kniha měla nefunkční vazbu s množstvím dodatečných oprav pomocí různých provázků a kovových hřebů, které způsobovaly její další poškozování. Dřevěné knižní desky jsou na hranách poškozené a přední deska je podélně prasklá. Obě desky jsou od knižního bloku odděleny (zadní deska drží jen díky druhotným opravám). Tato práce obsahuje popis poškození, přesný popis restaurátorských postupů, seznam použitých materiálů a chemikálií, doporučené podmínky uložení a také výsledky odborných analýz a průzkumů. Na restaurovaný objekt a fragmenty byla zhotovena ochranná krabice z lepenky s alkalickou rezervou. Dále je součástí práce obrazová část s grafickou přílohou a fotografiemi knihy, které vznikly před, v průběhu a po restaurátorském zásahu.

Abstract:

P: This bachelor thesis deal with the description of processes during comprehensive restoration Czech cosmography by Sebastian Münster, which belongs to the collection of Scientific library in Olomouc. Bookbinding was damaged and there were many additional repairs like various strings, paper strips and metal nails, which caused other deterioration. Wooden boards were damaged on edges and front board was lenghtwise cracked. Both book boards were separate from the book block (back board was hold only due to secondary repairs). This work contains description of all damages, precise description of restoration techniques, used materials and chemicals, storage recommendations, results of analysis and researches. a protective box made of cardboard with an alkaline reserve was made for the restored object and fragments. The thesis contains also photographic documentation, all picture before, during and after restoration treatment.
