Educational Personality of a Social Pedagogue and Their Employment in an Educational Institution

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na vychovatelskou osobnost sociálního pedagoga a jeho uplatnění v ústavní péči. V tomto případě se jedná o výchovné ústavy pro chlapce s poruchami chování. Zabývá se vychovatelskou profesí, jak z pohledu dětí, tak i pedagogů. Teoretická část popisuje vztah mezi sociální pedagogikou a daným tématem. Vysvětluje některé z pojmů sociální pedagogiky, které se vztahují k vychovateli jako k sociálnímu pedagogovi a jeho uplatnění nejen ve výchovných ústavech, ale i v jiných resortech. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována charakteristice osobnosti vychovatelů dětských domovů se školou a jiných výchovných ústavů. V praktické části jsou prostřednictvím dotazníku kladeny otázky vychovatelům a chlapcům ve věku 11 až 16 let. Otázky byly následně vyhodnoceny a zpracovány dle předem určených kritérií. Cílem výzkumu je získání konkrétních informací, které napomáhají objasnit, jak vnímá osobnost sociálního pedagoga sám vychovatel, ale i jeho svěřenci. Shrnutím výsledků je vyhodnocení skutečnosti, zdali se jejich názory v některých případech shodují či nikoliv.

Abstract:

The Bachelor thesis focuses on the educational personality of a social pedagogue and his application in institutional care. In this case, it is an educational institution for boys with behavioural disorders. It deals with the educational profession, both from the point of view of children and pedagogues. The theoretical part describes the relationship between social pedagogy and the topic. It explains some of the concepts of social pedagogy, which relate to the educator as a social pedagogue and its application not only in educational institutions, but also in other departments. Special attention is paid to the personality characteristics of educators of children's homes with a school and other educational institutions. In the practical part, questions are asked to educators and boys aged 11-16 through a questionnare. The questions were then evaluated and processed according to predeterminated criteria. The aim of the research is to obtain specific information that helps to clarify how the personality of the social pedagogue is perceived by the educator himself, but also by his charges. A summary of the results is an evaluation of whether or not their opinions concur in some cases.
