Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vývojem cestovního ruchu především během letní dovolené obyvatel České republiky od šedesátých let minulého století do současnosti. Na začátku diplomové práce je použita zejména popisná metoda, v druhé časti je použita metoda komparace. Cílem této práce je porovnat možnosti a způsoby cestování během letní dovolené obyvatel České republiky před rokem 1989 a po něm, porovnat nejčastější způsoby trávení dovolené, identifikovat charakteristické znaky dovolených během obou období a určit nejzásadnější události, které na změny v trávení letní dovolené měly vliv, a následně tyto změny popsat. První část, teoreticko-metodologická, se zabývá analýzou pojmů z oblasti cestovního ruchu a jejich členěním. Druhá část je analytická a formou PEST analýzy se zabývá politickým, ekonomickým, kulturním a technologickým prostředím. PEST analýzy jsou dvě, každá se zabývá jiným časovým obdobím a popisuje zejména okolnosti a události, které mají nějakou souvislost s cestovním ruchem. První se zaměřuje na období roků 1960–1989 a druhá na období od roku 1990 dosud. Na PEST analýzy navazuje popis a charakteristika nejčastějších forem trávení letní dovolené ve sledovaném období. Ve třetí, návrhové části, se zabývám návrhem možných změn, které by podpořily další rozvoj cestovního ruchu v době dovolených. V úplném závěru diplomové práce je provedeno shrnutí zjištěných poznatků a potvrzení stanovené hypotézy.

Abstract:

Dissertation discusses the evolution of tourism, with a focus on Summer holiday, of citizens of the Czech Republic, beginning in the 1960’s up until nowadays. For the purpose of this dissertation, the descriptive method was used at the beginning and comparative method in the second part of this paper. The goal is to compare theoptions of traveling during Summer holiday of the citizens of the Czech Republic before and after the year 1989. The focus is on comparing the most common ways of spending vacation, identify characteristics of vacations during both periods and find the most influential events which affected the ways in which people spent their vacations, and further describing these changes. The first part, theoretically-methodological, contains an analysis of specific concepts from the field of tourism, and their division. The second part is analytical and is a PEST analysis of political, economic, cultural and technological environment. There are two PEST analyses, and each follows different time period and describes mainly circumstances and events which are related to tourism. The first one focuses on period from 1960-1989 and the second one is from 1990 until nowadays. The PEST analyses are followed by a description and characteristics of the most common ways of Summer vacationing in each period. The third, solution part, discusses suggestions on possible changes which would positively influence further development of traveling during vacation time. At the end of the dissertation, there is a summary of findings from this paper and confirmation of stated hypothesis.
