Support and Education for Parents of Premature Babies.

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá edukací a podporou rodičů předčasně narozených dětí. V teoretické části krátce popisuje předčasný porod. Následně navazuje klasifikace novorozenců, popis nedonošeného dítěte, možné problémy spojené s nedonošeností a prognóza předčasně narozených dětí. Dále popisuje pobyt dítěte na jednotce intenzivní péče, zdravotnický tým pečující o dítě a pocity, které mohou rodiče předčasně narozených dětí prožívat. Na tuto část navazuje kapitola o podpoře a edukaci rodičů, která zahrnuje podporu rodičů ještě před porodem, v průběhu návštěv dítěte na jednotce intenzivní péče a podporu rodičů při propuštění dítěte. V závěru teoretické části seznamuje čtenáře s etickými problémy v neonatologii. V praktické části ukazuje vyhodnocení a výsledky výzkumného šetření. Cílem tohoto výzkumného šetření bylo zjistit, zda jsou rodiče předčasně narozených dětí spokojeni s edukací, podporou a komunikací ošetřujícího zdravotnického personálu na neontologických jednotkách intenzivní péče.

Abstract:

This Bachelor work deals with education and the support of premature babies. In the theoretical part it is shortly described premature childbirth. Followed with the classification of new born infants, the description of premature babies and its possible problems connected with prematuring and the prognosis for premature babies. Further there is the description of the stay at the intensive care unit, the heath team caring about the babies and the parents´ feelings of premature babies. This part is followed by the chapter about the support and education of parents which includes the support for parents before childbirth, the support during visit the baby at the intensive care unit and the support during the baby leaving the hospital. The conclusion of the theoretical part introduces the ethics problems in neonatology. The practical part shows the assessment and the result of research. The purpose of research was to discover if the parents of premature babies are satisfied with the education, support and communication with the health personnel at the neonatal intensive care unit.
