Possibilities of animation of unused ecclesiastical monuments on the example of Augustinian monasteries in Bohemia

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice animace církevních staveb v majetku řádu sv. Augustina v České provincii, se zaměřením na možnosti animace kláštera v Bělé pod Bezdězem. Teoretická část stručně popisuje typologii církevních staveb, shrnuje historii vztahu církve a českého sátu. Dále se věnuje teoretickému přístupu k animaci kulturního dědictví, konkrétně animaci klášterů, shrnuje její hlavní cíle a předpoklady pro její úspěšnou realizaci. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na augustiniánský klášter u kostela sv. Václava v Bělé pod Bezdězem. Popisuje návrh animace kláštera.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis discusses the matters of cultural animation of religious monuments in the possession of the Order of St. Augustine in the Czech province, focusing on the possibilities of cultural animation of monastery in Bělá pod Bezdězem. The theoretical part briefly describes the typology of religious buildings, summarizes the history of the relationship between the Church and the Czech State. It also deals with the theoretical approach to animation of cultural heritage, namely the animation of monasteries, it summarizes its main goals and prerequisites for its successful realization. The practical part of the thesis is focused on Augustinian monastery at church of St. Václav in Bělá pod Bezdězem. Describes the animation of this monastery.
