Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou soudobé anglojazyčné džihádistické propagandy, která se šíří na internetu ve formě online časopisů. Tento trend se stává významnou bezpečnostní hrozbou, která může vést k radikalizaci a rekrutaci osob do džihádistických skupin, ale i k jejich motivaci k teroristickým činům. Cílem práce je analýza tří džihádistických časopisů, a to časopisů Inspire, Dabiq a Azan. Analýza vychází z modelu analýzy propagandy od Gartha Jowetta a Victorie O´Donnellové, kteří sestavili soubor nejdůležitějších aspektů, na které by se měl výzkum propagandy zaměřovat. Pomocí komparace zkoumaných případů dochází v práci k identifikaci základních charakteristických rysů dané formy džihádistické propagandy.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with contemporary English-language jihadist propaganda that is spread on the Internet in the form of online magazines. This trend is becoming a major security threat, which can lead to radicalization and recruitment of individuals to jihadist groups, but also to their motivation to carry out a terrorist attack. The aim is analysis of three jihadist magazines - Inspire, Dabiq and Azan. The analysis is patterned on the model of propaganda analysis developed by Garth Jowett and Victoria O´Donnell, who compiled the most important aspects of propaganda that should be researched. Using the comparation of these cases are identified essential features of jihadist propaganda magazines.
