Anotace: Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou psychosociálních potřeb seniorů z pohledu všeobecných sester ve vybraných zařízeních. Úvod do teorie prezentuje kapitola o gerontologii, kde jsou shrnuty změny ve stáří, rozdělení gerontologie a stručný náhled na demografii stárnoucí populace.
