Vertical division of the text in internet journalism

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vertikálním členěním v internetové publicistice. V teoretické části se zaměřujeme na kompozici a členění textu v české stylistice s důrazem na pojetí vertikálního členění, dále se věnujeme publicistickému stylu a internetové publicistice. K naplnění cílů této bakalářské práce byla v praktické části provedená analýza prostředků vertikálního členění a jejich funkcí, které se používají v internetových zpravodajských portálech, zejména v Aktuálně.cz, iDnes.cz, Novinky.cz a Seznam Zprávy. Dále byla provedená komparativní analýza těchto portálů, na jejímž základě jsme zjistili pravidla, podobnosti a rozdíly ve využívání prostředků vertikálního členění ve zpravodajských článcích. Výsledky jsou poté prezentovány v závěru.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis deals with vertical division in internet journalism. In the theoretical part, we focus on the composition and the text division in Czech stylistics, emphasizing the concept of vertical division. Next, we pay attention to the public style in Czech internet journalism. To fulfill the goals of this bachelor thesis, an analysis of means of vertical division and their functions which are used in the internet news portal, especially in Aktuálně.cz, iDnes.cz, Novinky.cz, and Seznam Zprávy was made. Next, a comparative analysis of these portals was made. On its basis, we found out the rules, similarities, and differences in the use of the means of vertical division in the news articles. The results are presented in the conclusion.
