Regeneration of Norway maple (Acer pseudoplatanus L.) on the calamity clearing in Hostýnské vrchy.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá přirozenou obnovou javoru klenu na kalamitní holině v Hostýnských vrších, kde po semenném roce 2020 začíná vzcházet obnova javoru. Na ploše byla vytvořena síť inventarizačních ploch a pro potřeby výzkumu byla kolem jedné části vystavěna oplocenka. Na inventarizačních plochách byly zjišťovány parametry jako druh dřevin, počet dřevin a výška dřevin. Celkem byla provedena tři měření ve třech letech. Analyzován byl především vliv oplocení na četnost a odrůstání nárostů javoru klenu. Podle výsledků má javor klen na zájmové ploše majoritní zastoupení. Z výsledků je patrno, že faktor oplocení hrál především v prvních dvou letech. Ve třetím roce bylo při terénním šetření zjištěno, že u jedinců chráněných plotem došlo k významným ztrátách na počtech i výškovém přírůstu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the natural regeneration of Norway maple in a calamity clearing in Hostýnské vrchy, where maple regeneration is starting to emerge after the 2020 seed year. A network of inventory plots has been created in the area and a fence has been built around one part for research purposes. In the inventory plots, parameters such as tree species, number of trees and tree height were surveyed. In total, three measurements were made in three years. In particular, the effect of fencing on the frequency and growth of sycamore stands was analyzed. According to the results, sycamore has a majority in the area of interest. The results show that the fencing factor played a major role in the first two years. In the third year, the field survey found that individuals protected by the fence experienced significant losses in numbers and height growth
