Economic view of the transfer of a family business and its challenges

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zpracování případové studie na předání vybraného rodinného podniku. První část práce předkládá ucelený teoretický přehled o rodinném podnikání, nástupnictví a hlediska ovlivňující předání rodinného podniku. Druhá část se věnuje vybranému rodinnému podniku, jeho prezentaci a výsledkům hospodaření v posledních letech. V další části jsou provedeny analýzy vnitřního a vnějšího prostředí firmy, vytipování potenciálního nástupce a rozbor ekonomických důsledků předání. V závěru práce dochází k vyhodnocení proveditelnosti předání, nákladů spojených s předávkou a doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of the diploma thesis is the processing of a case study on the transfer of a selected family business. The first part of the work presents a comprehensive theoretical overview of family business, succession and aspects affecting the transfer of the family business. The second part is dedicated to the selected family business, its presentation and management results in recent years. In the next part, analyzes of the company's internal and external environment, selection of a potential successor and analysis of the economic consequences of the handover are carried out. At the end of the work, there is an evaluation of the feasibility of the handover, costs associated with the handover and recommendations.
