Migration to the Prague-West district and their spatial relationships with their previous residence

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na Pražany, kteří se přistěhovali do okresu Praha-západ. Zkoumá jejich spokojenost v okresu a prostorové vztahy s Prahou. Teoretická část v úvodu popisuje vnitřní migraci v České republice. Následuje detailní pohled na suburbanizaci, s kterou se pojí několik negativních dopadů, především na životní prostředí. Diplomová práce dále pokračuje podrobným seznámením se a specifikací okresu Praha-západ. V návaznosti na stěhování do okresu se zaměřuje práce také na migraci a imigraci v okresu ve sledovaném období 2000-2018. Praktická část zkoumá a následně popisuje názory Pražanů shromážděné výzkumnou metodou dotazníkového šetření. Dotazník je uspořádán do několika navazujících částí. V první části zkoumá, jak dlouho Pražané v okresu bydlí a do jakého typu nemovitosti se přistěhovali. Dále se dotazník věnuje spokojenosti bývalých pražských rezidentů v okresu Praha-západ. Jaké aspekty života se dle jejich názorů zlepšily, či naopak zhoršily. Následuje dotazování, jaký způsobem si dotázaní respondenti udržují své původní vztahy Praze.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on Prague residents who immigrated to Prague-West. It examines their satisfaction in the district and spatial relations with Prague. The theoretical part focuses on the internal migration in the Czech Republic. The following is a detailed look at suburbanization, which is associated with several negative impacts, especially on the environment. This thesis also contains a definition and specifications of the Prague-West. Following the move to the district, it also focuses on migration and immigration in the district in the period 2000- 2018. The practical part is focused directly on Prague residents, whose opinions were investigated using a questionnaire. The questionnaire is organized into several parts. The first part examines since when Prague residents are living in the district and what type of real estate they moved into. The questionnaire also deals with the satisfaction of former Prague residents in the district of Prague-West. In their opinion, which aspects of life had improved or worsened. This is followed by a question on how the respondents maintain their original relations with Prague.
