Abstract:

Hlavní myšlenkou diplomové práce byl kvalitativní výzkum uskutečněných audiencí v letech 1919 až 1934 a přijatých u hlavy státu Tomáše Garrigue Masaryka na Pražském hradě. První část práce se věnuje teoretické části uvedení čtenáře do historického kontextu dané doby a představení života první hlavy Československého státu. Nechybí také popsání významu, forem a historie diplomacie a diplomatického protokolu. V práci jsou také představeni ceremoniáři, kteří se význačně na průběhů audiencí v době své funkce podíleli. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na ústřední téma audiencí, od jejich dělení a průběh jednotlivých druhů, po výsledky kvalitativního výzkumu celkového počtu audiencí za dané období a také příklady průběhu vybraných audiencí dle historických záznamů. Cílem práce bylo představit dosud ne zcela populární a probrané téma audiencí jako součásti diplomatického protokolu.

Abstract:

The main idea of the thesis was a qualitative research of the conducted audiences between 1919 and 1934 and the receptions held by the head of state, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, at Prague Castle. The first part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical introduction, placing the reader in the historical context of that period, and presenting the life of the first head of the Czechoslovak state. It also includes a description of the significance, forms, and history of diplomacy and diplomatic protocol. The thesis also introduces the ushers who significantly contributed to the course of audiences during their time in office. The second part of the thesis is centered around the main theme of audiences, from their classification and the process of various types of audiences, to the results of the qualitative research on the total number of audiences during the given period. It also provides examples of the course of selected audiences based on historical records. The aim of the thesis was to present the relatively less known and discussed topic of audiences as a part of diplomatic protocol.
