Business relations between the Czech Republic and Myanmar

Abstract:

Cílem této práce je na základě analýzy ekonomických a sociálních faktorů, stejně tak jako současné situace obchodních vztahů ČR s Myanmarem, odpovědět na otázku, zda je možné považovat Myanmar za perspektivního partnera pro obchodní spolupráci a případně v jakých odvětvích tkví největší potenciál budoucí spolupráce. Práce je členěna na čtyři kapitoly. První je věnována vymezení pojmům mezinárodní obchod a mezinárodní prostředí, ve druhé kapitole probíhá analýza situace ČR na základě makroekonomických ukazatelů a zahraničního obchodu, třetí kapitola je zaměřena na analýzu Myanmaru podle sociálních, politických, legislativních a ekonomických faktorů. Čtvrtá kapitola je zaměřena na obchodní vztahy ČR, jejich vývojem a na základě analýzy výše uvedených faktorů i příležitostem obchodních vztahů ve vybraných odvětví.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis "Business relations between the Czech Republic and Myanmar" is to answer the question if Myanmar could be considered as a promising partner for business cooperation and if so, which are the most promising fields for future cooperation. For that analysis of economic and social factors as well as analysis of the current state of Czech-Myanmar business relations will be used. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters, first is focused on the term international business and international environment, second is analyzing the Czech Republic based on macroeconomic indicators and international trade, third chapter is focused on the analysis of Myanmar through social, political, legislative and economic factors. The fourth chapter focuses on business relations between both countries, their development throughout history, and based on the analysis of factors mentioned above the opportunities for future cooperation in selected sectors.
