Two-Dimensional Semantics

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma paper is to present semantics theory which is called Two-Dimensional semantics. The work is focus on short approximation of circumstances which stands at the beginning of this theory, than it is focused to the presenting of process in which modality, a priority and meaning were linked together and likewise work is focused on circumstances of the interruption of these connections thanks to Krike's modal illusions. The main part of the work is devoted to the presentation of various theories called two-dimensional semantics and to the presentation of possible critics of these theories.

Abstract:

Cieľom práce je predstaviť sémantickú teóriu s názvom dvojdimenzionálna sémantika. Práca je zameraná na stručné priblíženie okolností jej vzniku, prezentovanie procesu prepojenia modality, a priority a významu, a taktiež okolnostiam prerušeniu tohto spojenia Kripkeho modálnymi ilúziami. Hlavné jadro práce je venované jednotlivým teóriám spadajúcim pod názov dvojdimenzionálna sémantika a možnej kritike týchto teórií.
