Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Využití tance v muzikálu" zkoumá především taneční složku muzikálových inscenací. Práce se skládá ze dvou teoretických částí a dvou empirických částí. V teoretické části se věnuji definici, vzniku a vývojem muzikálu, které jsou založeny na poznatcích získaných z odborné literatury, a také samotnému tanci a jednotlivým formám, které jsou využívány v muzikálu. Empirickou část tvoří rozbor dvou muzikálů, muzikál Dracula a muzikál Galileo. Do empirické části také zahrnuji rozhovor s choreografkou a tanečnicí Leonou Qašou Kvasnicovou na téma choreografie a tanec v muzikálech. Cílem bakalářské práce je zjištění funkce tance v muzikálu, využití tance v muzikálu a tanečních stylů, které jsou v muzikálových inscenacích nejčastěji využívány.

Abstract:

The Bachelor´s Thesis, which is called "The usage of dance in the musical", analyses the dance component of musical productions. The assignment is comprised of two parts of theory and two parts of practice. In the theoretical part, I'll describe the definition, the origin and the development of musicals, based on insights from proffesional literature and also the topic of dance itself, in their forms and the used in musical theatre. Practical part is comprised of analysis of two musicals, The Dracula and The Galileo. In the practical part, I've also included an interview with choreographist and dancer Leona Qaša Kvasnicova on the topic of choreography and dance in musical theatre. The main goal of this assignment is to describe the function and use of dance in musical theatre and the dancing styles used in them the most frequently.
