Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá světovým obchodem s kávou. Cílem práce je analyzovat obchod s kávou a poskytnout informace o kávovém odvětví jako celku. První kapitola poskytuje základní informace o kávě jako plodině. Druhá kapitola je stěžejní kapitolou celé práce a podává informace o produkci a spotřebě stejně jako o exportu a importu kávy. Dále popisuje, jak je káva obchodovaná a jakým způsobem je určována její cena. Zaměřuji se zde také na masový trh a řetězce, které se kávou zabývají. Třetí kapitola je zaměřena na způsoby certifikace a alternativní způsoby obchodu, mezi které patří Fairtrade a Direct trade. Poslední kapitola se snaží o nástin možností pro budoucí vývoj trhu s kávou.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the global coffee trade. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the coffee industry and provide information about the coffee sector. The first part provides basic information about coffee as a crop. The second part is the key part of the thesis and provides information about the production and consumption as well as export and import of coffee. It also describes how the coffee is traded and how its price is set. There is also a focus on the mass market and chains that are involved. The third part focuses on possibilities of certification and other alternative ways of trade, including Fairtrade and Direct trade. The last part seeks to outline options for the future development of the coffee market.
