Accounting and tax consequences of transitions between different types of records of economic activity for an individual entrepreneur

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá přechody mezi jednotlivými druhy evidencí hospodářských činností u individuálního podnikatele. Cílem práce je analýza daňových a účetních konsekvencí těchto přechodů a jejich následné praktické znázornění u dvou reálných podnikatelů se zhodnocením administrativní náročnosti těchto přechodů. V první části práce jsou vymezeny klíčové pojmy, tj. podnikatel, evidence příjmů a pohledávek, daňová evidence, účetnictví a paušální daň, přičemž jsou popsány jejich znaky a vzájemné rozdíly. V druhé části práce jsou popsány jednotlivé přechody mezi evidencemi s důrazem na analýzu daňových a účetních dopadů. Třetí část popisuje, jaký vliv na základ daně mají přechody mezi evidencemi a paušální daní. Čtvrtá část je zaměřena na vyčíslení daňových a účetních konsekvencí jednak při vzájemných přechodech mezi evidencemi a rovněž mezi těmito evidencemi a paušální daní u dvou reálných podnikatelů. Na závěr jsou konstatována závěrečná zjištění, že v případě prvního podnikatele vedoucího daňovou evidenci by měly veškeré přechody stejný daňový dopad a u druhého podnikatele vedoucího účetnictví by byl z daňového hlediska nejvýhodnější přechod na daňovou evidenci.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with transitions between different types of records of economic activities of an individual entrepreneur. The aim of the thesis is to analyse the tax and accounting consequences of these transitions and their subsequent practical illustration for two real entrepreneurs with an assessment of the administrative complexity of these transitions. In the first part of the thesis, the key concepts, i.e. entrepreneur, income and receivables register, tax register and accounting are defined, describing their features and differences. The second part of the thesis describes the various transitions between the records with an emphasis on the analysis of tax and accounting implications. The third part describes the impact on the tax base of the transitions between accounting and the flat tax. The fourth part focuses on quantifying the tax and accounting implications of both the transitions between registers and between these registers and the flat tax for two real entrepreneurs. It concludes by showing that in the case of the first entrepreneur, all transitions would have the same tax implications, and in the case of the second entrepreneur, the transition to tax records would be the most advantageous from a tax point of view.
