Abstract:

Diplomová bakalářská práce „Mandolína - historie, organologie, repertoár“ představuje mandolínu jako předmět hodný muzikologického zájmu i v České republice, tak jak je tomu v jiných státech. Autor uvádí na pravou míru některé terminologické nepřesnosti a ujasňuje rozdíl mezi základními dvěma druhy mandolín. Práce je svého druhu prvním obsáhlejším textem o mandolíně v českém jazyce a mohla by tedy sloužit jako odrazový bod pro další průzkum tohoto nástroje ať již z pohledu organologického, historického nebo z hlediska vhodného repertoáru. Práce se snaží zmapovat dobové teoretické prameny, zabývá se současným stavem dané problematiky, reflektuje uložení jednotlivých nástrojových typů v muzejních sbírkách a v příloze přináší spartaci dvou kvartet Jana Ladislava Dusíka.

Abstract:

The content of this bachelor thesis was to introduce the mandolin as an object deserving musicological interest in the Czech republic, which already exists in other countries. It was also necessary to revise some terminological inaccuracies and to define the difference between the two basic types of mandolins. This is the first more extensive piece of work of this kind about the mandolin in the Czech language and could thus serve as a springboard for further exploration of this instrument from either organological point of view or for finding suitable repertoire. The work attempts to map out the theoretical sources of the period, deals with the present state of the issue, reflects the placement of the individual instrument types in museum collections and in the supplement it brings forward a spartace of two quartets by Jan Ladislav Dusík.
