Habitatové preference plazivek (Copepoda: Harpacticoida) na vybraných prameništních slatiništích Bílých Karpat

Habitat preferences of harpacticoids (Copepoda: Harpacticoida) in selected spring fens of White Carpatians

Abstract:

Plazivky jsou významnou součástí permanentní fauny pramenišť, která pro ně představují širokou nabídku specifického prostředí. Proto jsou prameniště vhodným biotopem pro studium rozdílů v druhovém složení na jednotlivých mikrohabitatech. V teoretické části této práce jsem se pokusila shrnout ekologické nároky plazivek a jejich dosavadní výzkum v České republice. Cílem praktické části bylo popsat druhové složení plazivek na prameništích a zjistit rozdíly v druhovém zastoupení mezi vybranými mikrohabitaty a lokalitami. Pro odběr vzorků byly vybrány tři lokality pěnovcových prameništ v CHKO Bílé Karpaty a tři typy mikrohabitatů: pramenný vývěr, pramenná stružka a mechy. Pro srovnání s jiným typem vodního biotopu byl vždy vybrán potok v blízkosti prameniště. Celkem bylo určeno 10 druhů plazivek náležících do naší nejběžnější čeledi Canthocamptidae. Výrazně nejběžnějším a nejhojnějším druhem na všech zkoumaných prameništích byl Echinocamptus pilosus (47,7 %), který nebyl dosud z České republiky publikován. Největší druhová bohatost byla zjištěna v pramenném vývěru (celkem 7 druhů), a nejmenší v potocích (celkem 4 druhy). Obecně patří potoky k druhově nejbohatším lokalitám, neboť nabízí dostatek prokysličeného substrátu a rychlý proud vody, který plazivky preferují. Důvodem nízkého počtu nalezených druhů byl pravděpodobně nevyhovující substrát dna nebo jiné biotické či abiotické faktory. Ze srovnání lokalit vyplynulo, že na lokalitě V Krátkých bylo nalezeno nejméně jedinců, ale současně největší počet druhů (8). Nejmenší počet druhů byl nalezen na lokalitě Hrubý Mechnáč (5). Výsledky své práce jsem srovnávala s výsledky O. Štěrby, který prováděl výzkum druhového složení plazivek na jiných třech pěnovcových prameništích Bílých Karpat v 60. letech 20. století.

Abstract:

Harpacticoids are important constituents of permanent meiofauna in springs which offer them wide array of specific habitats. That is the reason why springs are suitable biotopes for studying differences of the species composition between individual microhabitats. In the theoretical part of this thesis, I tried to summarize known ecological requirements of harpacticoids and the state of research in the Czech Republic. The aim of the practical part was to describe the species composition in selected springs and to find the differences in the species composition between different microhabitats and sampling sites. I have sampled three calcareous fens in the PLA Bílé Karpaty Mts. and three types of microhabitats: spring outflow, springbrook and mosses. To compare with another type of water biotope, I also sampled nearby streams. In total, 10 species were determined, all belonging to our most common family Canthocamptidae. Considerably, the most common and abundant species in all springs was Echinocamptus pilosus (47,7 %) which has not been published from the Czech Republic so far. Spring outflow was the species richest microhabitat (7 species in total) while the poorest species composition was found in streams (4 species in total). Generally, streams show the highest species richness due to rapid water flow, and sufficiently oxygenated substrate. The reason I found only low number of species in streams was probably unsuitable bottom substrate or other biotic and abiotic factors. As for the differences between sampling sites, the lowest number of individuals but the highest number of species (8) were found at the site V Krátkých. The lowest number of species was found at the site Hrubý Mechnáč (5). I compared the results of my research with the results of O. Štěrba, who surveyed the species composition of other three calcareous fens in the Bílé Karpaty Mts. in 1960‘ ies.
