Female homelessness and violence from the perspective of social work.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku ženského bezdomovectví a násilí. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a výzkumnou část. V rámci teoretické části se věnuji ženskému bezdomovectví, ukotvení genderu, násilí a jeho specifickým podobám, sociální práci včetně konkrétních způsobů práce v životní situaci bezdomovectví a násilí u žen. Výzkumná část se zabývá otázkou pomoci těmto ženám, respektive řešením ženského bezdomovectví. Cílem práce je analyzovat a popsat možnosti a limity práce při řešení ženského bezdomovectví v souvislosti se zkušeností s násilím z pohledu pomáhajících pracovníků. Konkrétně svou pozornost zaměřím na praktikované způsoby práce a nástroje pomoci, které podle pomáhajících pracovníků, jakožto klíčových aktérů, přispívají k řešení sociálně nepříznivé situace žen, zároveň však upozorním na limity sociální práce a bariéry pomoci, které se při práci se ženami bez domova objevují.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issues of homeless women and violence. It is divided into the theoretical part and the research. The theoretical part focuses on the matter of homeless women, defining the gender, violence in its specific forms, social work including the specific forms of work in life situations of homeless and violated women. The research part focuses on the matter of helping these women, or more precisely in solving their problem. The aim of the work is to analyse and describe the possibilities and limits of work in solving the homeless women problem from the point of view of the helping workers and their experience. More specifically the attention was focused on practical forms and tools of help, which according to the helping workers, who are the key contributors in solving the socially difficult situations of women. At the same time the limits of social work and barriers of help which appear in cases of work with homeless women will be pointed out.
