Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na graffiti a jeho význam pro člena subkultury graffiti. Speciálně se práce zabývá subkulturou zlínské graffiti scény. Cílem práce je popsat a zmapovat subkulturu graffiti z pohledu člena této subkultury a nastínit, co obnáší být sprejerem (writerem). První část práce je zaměřena na teorii, kde je popsán vznik a vývoj graffiti v jeho kolébce v New Yorku. Dále je v první části graffiti popsáno jako možný nástroj, pro vyjádření názoru a komunikaci mas. Druhá a hlavní část se zabývá popisem graffiti subkultury a procesu pro mladého jedince, který se chce stát členem. Tato část se opírá o osobní rozhovory se členy zlínské graffiti subkultury. Ve třetí části práce je graffiti popsáno jako vandalský čin, který se ale dostává do galerií a má své obdivovatele. Závěrečná kapitola se zabývá bojem proti graffiti. Pojednává se zde o vývoji a způsobů jednotlivých měst v boji s vandalismem ve formě graffiti.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on graffiti and its significance for a member of the graffiti subculture. Especially the thesis deals with the subculture of the Zlín graffiti scene. The aim of the thesis is to describe and map the graffiti subculture from the point of view of a member of this subculture and to outline what it means to be a sprayer (writer). The first part of the thesis is focused on theory, which describes the origin and evolution of graffiti in its cradle in New York. In the first part, graffiti is described as a possible tool for expressing the opinion and communication tool of the masses. The second and main part deals with the description of the graffiti subculture and the process for the young individual, who wants to become a member. This part is based on personal interviews with members of the Zlín graffiti subculture. In the third part of the thesis, graffiti is described as a vandalism, but it gets to the galleries and has its admirers. The final chapter deals with the fight against graffiti. It discusses the development and ways of individual cities in the fight against vandalism in the form of graffiti.
